The Club Practice Scheduled for Saturday November 10 Has Been Cancelled due to Cold Weather

We are now on the daylight savings time practice schedule of 10 to noon on Saturdays at UNCC.  Practice has been cancelled for November 10 due to expected cold weather.  Practice will not be held when the temperature is below 45 F.

Important Changes To Our Use of the UNCC Track For Practices

Coach Olesen of UNCC has informed us that due to recent campus security issues (muggings, attacks on females, etc.) the following changes will be necessary regarding our use of the UNCC track for practices.  The first change is that we have provided Coach Olesen with a list of all of the CT&FC members that may be using the UNCC track for practice.  This list only includes members that live in the Charlotte area and might potentially practice at the track.  Campus police may check those using the track to see if they are on the list, and if you are not on the list you will be asked to leave the campus.  The second changes is that we are to keep the gate closed and locked (or with the appearance of being locked) when we are using the track.  The public is not allowed to use the track, and we are being asked to not assist the public in gaining access.  All members are asked to comply with this request from UNCC so that the Club does not lose use of the track.

And most important of all – BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THE TRACK DUE TO THE SECURITY ISSUES THAT HAVE OCCURRED
